New appointments of UniCat scientists

Dr. Marek Sierka (junior scientist in Research Fields A1 and D1 in the group of Prof. Sauer) as accepted an appointment at Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena. He will start as a professor for Computational Materials Science on January 01, 2012 at Institute of Materials Science and Technology at the Faculty for Physics and Astronomy.

Dr. Thomas Risse (former  junior scientist in the research group of Prof. Freund; A2) appointment for a W3 professorship at Freie Universität Berlin. Risse is the successor of Prof. Christmann at the Institute of Chemistry and Biochemistry at FU Berlin.
Prof. Thomas Risse remains a member of UniCat working on Research Fields B3 and B4. Oct. 2010.

Prof. Dr. Andrea Hartwig (former UniCat professor at TU Berlin in Research Field C4) appointment for a professorship at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Now
Prof Hartwig does research at Institute of Applied Biosciences. Sept. 2010.

Dr. Jens-Uwe Repke (former junior scientist in the research group of Prof. Wozny; C4 ) appointment for a W3 professorship at Technische Universität Freiberg; Dec 2009.

Dr. Anja Drews (former junior scientist in the research group of Prof. Kraume; C2) appointment for a lectureship at University of Oxford (Jan 2009) and appointment for a professorship at Hochschule für Technik and Wirtschaft Berlin (HTW Berlin); Oct. 2009.

Dr. Karsten Reuter (former junior scientist in the research group of Prof. Scheffler at FHI; A1, A2, C3) appointment for a professorship at Technische Universität München; Oct 2009.
