Humboldt Prize awardee comes to Prof. Roderich Süssmuth this May

Peter Leadlay, Herchel Smith Professor of Biochemistry, has been chosen by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation to receive a prestigious Humboldt Prize. The award is valued at 60,000 €. Now he is coming to Berlin.

He was nominated for the Humboldt Research Award by Professor Roderich Süssmuth at the Technische Universität Berlin. Now, he spends three months here on collaborative research projects.

The prize is awarded to internationally renowned scientists and scholars whose fundamental discoveries, new theories or insights have had a significant impact on their discipline and who are expected to continue producing cutting-edge achievements in the future.
