Catalysis Science Slam

Dear everyone!

You are all cordially invited to take part in the 2nd UniCat Science Slam – CatSlam 2015, organized by BIG-NSE students.

The 2015 CatSlam will focus specifically on teaching catalysis to anyone who wants to come and watch. A science slam is a talk or performance where scientists present their research work in front of a non-expert audience. The focus lies on teaching current science to a diverse audience in an entertaining way. Every presentation has a strict time limit and is judged by the audience. This year we have slammers from the areas of synthetic biology, electrochemistry, bioprocess engineering and biocatalysis. Thanks to generous support by DeGruyter (www.degruyter.com), there will be book prizes for the best participants.

This year’s science slam will take place on

Monday 6th July 2015, at 4:00 pm

TU Berlin
Old Chemistry building, room C 130
Straße des 17.
Juni 115
10623 Berlin

Everyone can come and watch (and vote!); ADMISSION IS FREE!
After the official part of the program, light refreshments and drinks will be served, thanks to generous donations by UniCat-Professors.

Please support us by distributing this information to your colleagues/group members/friends, or anyone else who may be interested.

May the best cat win!
