Chair

The Chair of UniCat is also Chairman of the Executive Board and the General Assembly. He reports to the Executive Board regularly, and once a year to the general assembly of all UniCat members.

The Chair represents the cluster in public and carries out the decisions of the Executive Board. He is supported by the UniCat Office.

The Chair is elected by the general assembly by secret ballot for a four-year term and nominates up to three Board Members as Vice-Chair.

Prof. Matthias Driess from the TU Berlin was elected by the general assembly on November 19th, 2009. His Vice-Chair is Prof. Peter Hildebrandt also at Technische Universität Berlin.
