Catalysis Science Slam

Dear everyone!

You are all cordially invited to take part in the first ever UniCat Science Slam - CatSlam,
organized by BIG-NSE
students.

The 2014 CatSlam will focus specifically on teaching Catalysis to anyone who wants to come and watch. Slammers with backgrounds in Organometallics, Biocatalysis, Organic Chemistry, Process Engineering and Biochemistry will be presenting their personal take on Catalysis - offering a very broad (and fun!) view, indeed.

A science slam is a scientific talk where scientists present their research work in front of a non-expert audience. The focus lies on teaching current science to a diverse audience in an entertaining way. Every presentation has a strictly time limit and is judged by the audience.

The science slam will take place  on

Fr 26th September 2014, at 4:00 pm

TU Berlin
Old Chemistry building, room C 130
Straße des 17. Juni 115
10623 Berlin

Everyone can come and watch (and vote!); ADMISSION IS FREE!

Please support us by distributing this information to your colleagues/group members/friends, or anyone else who may be interested, and confirm your attendance in the following Doodle.

There will be a few drinks/snacks/chat for everyone after the presentations, so we need a rough estimate of how many people will attend.

May the best cat win!
